We’re bringing together young men from across Washington, D.C. to engage in meaningful activities related to civic responsibility, self-care, and identity. The 2ndAnnual Young Men’s Empowerment Summit is an opportunity for fellowship and conversations on topics that impact young men in our community daily. The event will include activities such as barbershop talk, the 3-on-3 basketball tournament, and video game challenges.
We will also engage with parents directly on topics such as financial literacy, best practices to manage student transitions from middle and high school, and aseminar led by the Commission on Fathers, Men and Boys.
All students grade 6 – 12 and their fathers, mentors, or guardians are encouraged to attend!
